  • All outdoors ceremonies will have an indoor contingency plan.

    Featuring 340 year old hand-hewn timbers, the Main Hall will be an excellent space for your ceremony.

  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
    Saturday: 9:00 am - 12 a.m.
    Friday: 9 a.m. - 12 a.m.
    Thursday: 9 a.m. - 12 a.m

    All guests must be off the 1684 Venue | Resort premises no later than 11:00 p.m. the day of the event (except the clean-up crew, with all clean-up to be done by 12:00 am)

Booking FAQs

  • A rental contract must be signed, all pages initialed, as well as appropriate deposits submitted in order to confirm utilization of 1684 Venue | Resort.

  • The total cost for use of 1684 Venue | Resort and its facilities described in this contract is listed and will be outlined in a contract.

    To reserve services on the date/s requested, 1684 Venue | Resort requires a contract be signed by the Client and an initial deposit, which is determined based on the overall contract, of to be paid.

    A second payment of a pre-determined percentage of the balance is due six months prior to the event date.

    Payment of the remaining balance of the rental fee is due at a pre-determined number of days in advance of the event.

    Deposits and payments will be made by cash or personal check (made payable to 1684 Venue Events, LLC).
    A receipt from The 1684 Venue will be provided for each. A credit card shall be placed on file for damages in lieu of a damage deposit. Credit Cards are accepted but a 4 percent processing fee is added.

Planning FAQs

  • Music (DJ or live music) must stop no later than 10:30 PM. This allows enough time for goodbyes, to pack up your items, and for everyone to be off property by the stated time.

    1684 Venue | Resort does not permit “LAST CALLS”.

    No last call for alcohol. You may want to place a small sign letting guests know what time the bar will close.

    Alcohol may be consumed on the premises, only if served by a bartender. No drinking away from the venue or in designated parking areas.

    For any event providing Alcohol a licensed and insured bartender is required. Open bars where guests serve themselves are not allowed.

  • Vendors can coordinate with us. Coordination will be determined by other booked events.

    There is a size limit to the height and length of vehicles entering the complex due to the damage inflicted to our trees. Please coordinate limits with us. We will need to know the delivery dates and times of any rentals, so we can meet them and show them where to drop their rentals.

  • Yes, but only flameless candles.

  • 14 days before your wedding.

  • You’ll need a valid form of ID showing your age, as well as payment.

    Oklahoma marriage licenses are $50. However, if you and your fiancé have completed at least four hours of state-approved pre-marital counseling, you can bring your completion certificate (the original, not a copy) to the court clerk and pay only $5 instead of $50!

    Some counties may require paying in cash, so be sure to check with your local court clerk before you go.

    Residency isn’t required to obtain an Oklahoma marriage license. Both parties just have to be physically present to apply. If you’re a member of a tribal nation, you can apply for a marriage license directly through your tribal government (rules vary by tribe) and don’t need an additional license.

  • Please note that the hours assigned to your event include all set-up and all clean-up, including the set-up and clean-up of all subcontractors that you may utilize.

    1684 Venue Event staff will have your tables and chairs set up to your specifications and ready for your vendors.
    Trash disposal, other than the garbage disposal of items generated by the caterer, is your responsibility. Immediately following the event, please have your Clean-up Committee take a few minutes to walk all the areas of the building and property that have been utilized for the event and pick-up any refuse that may have been dropped or blown around.

    This trash may be placed into the 1684 Venue | Resort dumpsters.
